The Crown initially wanted guilty pleas, a suspended sentence, a criminal record, and probation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">I was ultimately able to negotiate the withdrawal of all charges against my client, who entered into a peace bond instead. This kept his record free of a conviction and helped keep his family together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">So I dressed like Matlock.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My client had been charged with uttering threats and an assault in domestic violence allegations.
